Kristen E. Roy
President
Mrs. Roy is administrative chair and owner of Florida Equipment And Restoration, Inc. (FEAR). She is a professional with more than 29 years of experience and a business leader with progressive accomplishments in project management, marketing, strategic planning, budget administration, quality control, and the development and execution of plans. Mrs. Roy’s responsibilities include creating, communicating, and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and overall direction as well as providing oversight for corporate operations. In addition, she also oversees the complete operation of the organization in accordance with the direction established in strategic plans. Further, Mrs. Roy represents FEAR in civil and professional associations and activities in the local community, the state, and nationally.
Matt Hudson
Mechanic
With a background in safety and heavy equipment operation and repair, Mr. Hudson comes to us from central Florida. After seven years working for a local equipment company, as well as almost ten years of professional experience overall, he has extensive knowledge in heavy equipment service. He is also well equipped to diagnose and troubleshoot any underlying issues that may have completely removed a machine from service. With experience in heavy equipment operation, Mr. Hudson knows how a machine should run and can safely maneuver most machines to pinpoint the exact problem, help the team have it repaired in a timely manner, and ensure the problem does not occur again.
Davis Richards
Shop Manager
A lifetime resident of Okeechobee, Mr. Richards, as our Shop Manager, is responsible for FEAR’s billing and office administration along with his knowledge working as an assistant mechanic. Mr. Richards is also responsible for assisting with mobile mechanic service calls, prepare and distribute work orders for mechanics as well as shop and machine maintenance. He is a valuable asset and a team player with the FEAR staff and mechanics.
Mario Huanca
Technical Mechanical Engineer
Mr. Mario Was born in Bolivia and with him he brought to FEAR more than 14 years of experience in the oil industry as mechanical supervisor with high experience in execution of scheduled preventive maintenance work (MPP2,3,4) and major maintenance overhaul and supervision of mechanical personnel. Mr. Mario has multiple skills on stationary engines such as Caterpillar- (35000, 34000 and 33000 series) Moto pumps, moto generators Waukesha- moto compressors, Compressors - Ariel, Dresser, Centrifugal pumps - Flowserver; Mechanical seals - Jhon Crane, Gearbox - Lufkin, Detroit, Cummins. He also has extensive experience in heavy equipment and diesel engines.
Raul Huanca
Electro-Mechanical Engineer
Mr. Raul was born and raised in Bolivia, he is an electromechanical engineer with a Post-Graduate background in Comprehensive Maintenance Management in mechanical and electrical equipment. Throughout his professional career he has served as supervisor of maintenance in multinational companies implementing risk assessment of heavy machinery and mining drilling, also as manager of risk and control of equipment use ratios. He has strong knowledge in different equipment brands as Caterpillar, Waukesha, Dresser, Ingersoll ram, Atlas copco, Resemin, Deutz, Cummins, Detroit.
